The V-Blade Irons from Piranha Golf are new for 2010! Using soft forged carbon steel and their unique CNC process that defines each and every club head to perfect balance and weight, these clubs deliver a premium golf product. Designed to deliver lower ball spin rate through the lower to mid-irons for greater distance, and higher spin rates for the higher irons, and with a number of great shaft options, the V-Blade can help golfers achieve their goals of consistency and accuracy. These clubs are best suited to low handicappers who want the best of both worlds; feel and workability.

There are 2 main differences between the A*Blade and V*Blade
1. The club face of the A is slightly smaller than the V meaning that the
A is designed for a slightly better player that has a tight swing plane
thereby ensuring he/she get the most out of the club head. So the sweet
spot in summary is smaller on the A*Blade than the V*Blade.
2. There is minimal offset on the A which translates to again a tighter
swing pattern getting the most out of the club head. The V*Blade was
designed with offset to enable the feel of a blade but the ability to not
have to swing perfectly every time to engage the head and get results, we
fimnd everyone hitting the V*Blade gains 5-10 metres on each club.
The material of both is the same , the weight of the heads is the same and
the weight distribution or centre of gravity of both is the same.
The interesting thing is that if we made a V*Blade with a straight hosel
or very little offset , we would most likely not sell any A*Baldes due to
the performance of the head.  - We will launch the V*Blade ( Pro ) very
little offset in March 2011
